History: Shane grew up in the middle of nowhere Texas. He lived in a town where the same people where born, lived and died there. Everyone knew everyone, the houses had white picket fences and people waved from thier doorsteps. But the Glass family, like every other family in that town had thier own secrets. Shane was beaten up from being young by his abusive alcoholic father. His mother ignored her own bruises in an attempt to keep up the facade of thier family portrait. As a teenager, Shane was anoher one of those bad boys. He skipped class, hooked up with girls and did up cars.
One day when Shane was 18, he came home to find his mother dead in her own bed. She'd taken an overdose hours before. Shane's father came home and beat his son to a pulp, blaming his only child for his wife's premature death. That moment changed it. For once, Shane struck back. Days later on the night of his mother's funeral, he did something that no one in that down did. He packed up his car and left. Knowing he could never go back. Not if he wanted to make a life for himself. So he began to travel, taking crappy jobs in big cities, never having successful relationships and living in dingy apartments. But Shane didn't care. He was happy. Because for once, he was in control of his own life.
